This year was one of the challenging yet best years of my life. Dati akala ko normal lang ang mga bagay bagay sa pagiging Tatay, like:
โ๏ธ Ok lang walang ABS, basta may AB ๐
โ๏ธ Magagamit mo yang tyan mo kung kakargahin mo ang baby mo
โ๏ธ Hindi na uso ang FitBod, ngayong tatay ka na, dapat DadBod๐
โ๏ธ Normal lang na magstress eating, kasi deserve ko naman
โ๏ธ Hindi na kailangan mag-ayos, tatay na kasi.
โ๏ธ Diet at exercise ay para lang sa mga binata.
โ๏ธ Tatanggapin na lang ang unti-unting pagtaba o panghihina.
and the list goes on....
For the longest time, I believed being tired, sluggish, and out of shape was just part of fatherhood. (kala ko that's the trend), kaya unti unti na ring napabayaan ko ang physical appearance ko that resulted to:
โ๏ธ Hindi na magkasyang damitโkahit bagong bili
โ๏ธ Sobrang hirap magsuot ng mga damit lalo na ng sapatos
โ๏ธ Infinite mirror moments saying โAng laki ko na!๐
."
โ๏ธ Nakatago sa likod tapos mukha lng makikita sa mga family and group pictures para di makita yung tummy or braso
๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐ต๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ผ:
๐ Bukod sa hinihingal ako makipaglaro sa mga anak ko.
๐ Mainitin ang ulo at madaling ma-trigger at pumitik sa inis hindi lang sa mga anak, pati sa mga bagay bagay.
๐ I started to feel symptoms of high blood pressure and heart problems, pero in denial lang ako.
๐ My energy and self confidence goes down every time I saw myself in the mirror (nagseself pitty ako๐ฅน)
๐๐๐๐ฃ, ๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ ๐ข๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ฉ๐ ๐ข๐ค๐ง๐ ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ค๐ช๐จ๐ก๐ฎ. ๐โค I want to LIVE longer to see my kids growing up. I want to be there when they needed me the most. I want to witness their weddings and makipaglaro pa sa mga apo ko in the future.
So, I prayed to God ๐na sana bigyan ako ng chance to redeem my self back (at the same time self confidence). Then I discovered The Lazy Lifter page and the Kaizen Program created by Coach Cho Lim, then I joined the program, and the rest of it, as they say, was history.
After 100 days, because of the program:

I managed to lose 11.7kg and kept it off even sa nagdaang holidays
โ
I gained the confidence and energy back to show up for 'me' and my family
โ
I achieved my leanest body physique by far
โ
I can now wear my XS and S sizes clothes
โ
I can run 5K straight without stopping and achieving milestones in running
โ
Sobrang gustong gusto ko ng humarap palagi sa salamin ๐
โ
I can now manage my emotions and react proactively to the things I can control.
โ
I feel so much lighter, stronger, and with more energy sa araw-araw.
