When I look back, masasabi ko talaga na proud ako sa sarili ko not because everything went perfectly, but because nalagpasan ko ang lahat ng pinagdaanan ko.
Almost six years of showing up kahit pagod, handling different personalities, challenges, pressure, misunderstandings, disappointments, victories, losses, and everything in between. Maraming pagkakataon na kinuwestyon ko ang sarili ko, pero pinili ko pa ring magpatuloy.
There were moments na sobrang pagod ako, but I learned to choose patience over frustration, understanding over anger, and commitment over comfort. Hindi naging madali, pero bawat experience naging parte ng growth ko.
Through it all, I kept learning, kept growing, and kept showing up. I’m proud of how I handled every situation not always perfectly, pero palagi kong sinubukang gawin ang mas makakabuti para sa players ko, sa team, at sa sport na mahal ko.
Kasi the goal is Gusto ko lang maibahagi sa kanila ang knowledge, skills, experiences, at lessons na natutunan ko through volleyball. Kung ano man ang natutunan ko bilang player, gusto kong maipasa sa kanila not only to help them become better athletes, but also to help them grow, believe in themselves

Almost six years of choosing to show up
And today, I’m simply proud!
Proud sa lahat ng challenges na hinarap at nalagpasan ko, at higit sa lahat, proud sa bawat player na nabigyan ko ng pagkakataong gabayan at matulungan. Despite everything, I’m proud that I never allowed the challenges to take away the passion that brought me here.
PNHS will always be more than just my alma mater. Dito nagsimula ang journey ko bilang athlete, at ngayon, the lessons and experiences I once received as a player are the same things I get to pass on and share with the next generation. 🏐💙
