Seeing all the kids in their formal attire hits differently. 🤍

We’re so used to seeing them in race jerseys, helmets, full gear, pawisan and looking so focused and brave on the track. Minsan tuloy nakakalimutan natin na they’re still just little kids.

Then comes the awarding ceremony. Wala na ang race face, wala na ang pressure. Just happy little boys and girls, wearing their cute little outfits and celebrating together.

Looking at Alli, napangiti ako. 🥹 Sa track, he looks so determined, parang ang laki na niyang lumaban. Pero seeing him all dressed up reminds me baby pa rin pala siya.

And that’s the same for all these little racers. Behind every podium finish, every trophy, and every medal is a child who’s simply enjoying the ride, making friends, and creating childhood memories.

Today, they may look like athletes. But at the end of the day, they’re still our little babies. The same little hands we hold, the same little feet that run to us after every race, the same little hearts that just want to hear, “I’m so proud of you.”

And maybe that’s what makes moments like this so special. We get to witness not just the champions they’re becoming, but the beautiful childhood they’re living. 🤍

What an epic Championship day for Alli. 🥹🏁

From consistently running 2nd place sa 1st and 2nd run, hanggang sa 7th place sa 3rd run dahil natumba siya. At alam naman natin sa pushbike, sobrang hirap nang humabol kapag nag-crash.

A little story behind today’s race…

Last Thursday, naaksidente si Alli to the point na kailangan namin siyang dalhin sa ER. Isa ’yon sa mga pinakanakakatakot na moments namin as parents. Sobrang thankful kami sa lahat ng tumulong at nagpakita ng concern sa amin during that time. You know who you are. Thank you so much. 🥹

The next day, bumalik kami sa doctor for another check-up. Syempre, gusto naming makasigurado na okay na talaga siya, at kailangan din namin ng go signal ng doctor bago siya payagang mag-race. Nung sinabi niyang okay na at pwede nang sumabak, sobrang gumaan ang loob namin. More importantly, okay ang Alli namin.

Then came Championship day.

Sa totoo lang, naging emotional ako after the 1st run. 🥹 Seeing Alli ride again after everything that happened just a few days ago made my heart so full. Ang tapang ng baby namin. Parang walang injury na pinagdaanan. Lumaban siya at binigay niya ang best niya.
