Lahat ng inyo pong katanungan ay masasagot sa Linggo.

Yung smile ko na yung magsasabi…

Iba sa pakiramdam, to meet people with same trajectory and goals that you have in your heart and mind. I am speechless, nakakabilib, what you see in the news and socmed is far different in person. Their perspectives will change yours as well. Ang masaya pa don, bilang sa kamay ang mga kababaihan.

Mahaba haba pa ang lalakbayin namin para sa mga Batang Kawiteño. Coach Jof once dream to finish his studies and he use his basketball skills to achieve it, and thank God, he graduated in MAPUA University. The alignment and manifestation is granted. He put aside the professional basketball ground to achieve his goals. Ang batang minsang nanghihiram ng sapatos, dahil dala ng kahirapan, ngayon, wala ng mapaglagyan ng sapatos na panglaro. Octopus ata si coach. 😁

Why I am here? May matutulong ba ang isang babae? My skills are aligned with volleyball, since I was in high school back where we are at SFAC - Bacoor. Until I step in college at EAC - Manila, 8 years in college dahil sa kabaliwan sa Volleyball that time. And finish BS HRM at St. Dominic College in Bacoor, dahil wala pa silang varsity those days. And gladly, after achieving everything, the medals and trophys, I had my diploma.

We have both different story, I came from a middle class family, while Jof have to work double since his father passed away at 13 years old, and her mom as a house helper, its not enough to sustain their needs everyday. He needs to stop for a year, para mamasukan as construction, dishwasher and as a fisherman.

Fast forward, as an athlete during those days we have the same focus. Men and women, have their own adaptability and capability. Handling challenges: logically, physically, mentally and spiritually is one. Thats what we would like to share at LIGA Kalayaan athletes.

This Coaches Convention of NBTC Philippines and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas - SBP will never be possible without the support of our Mayor Angelo G. Aguinaldo. Maraming salamat po!
