PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: One-Day Volleyball League

The SK Council of Brgy. Dita is pleased to invite all residents to a One-Day Volleyball League (Mixed Category) on May 1, 2026.
This event is open exclusively to residents of Brgy. Dita and NHA. It’s a day for our community to come together through sports and friendly competition.

​DATE: May 1, 2026
​CATEGORY: Mixed (Men & Women), No Age Limit
​STARTING TIME: To be announced soon.
​NOTE: Those who are interested in joining the league are encouraged to be present at the gym on May 1 on or before the starting time.

FROM RANK 4 TO THE PODIUM! 🥉🏐

The MVL Women just finished a wild run at the U-18 Volleyball League in Tabontabon! After a tough opening stretch, the standings fell in their favor—securing us the Rank 4 crossover spot.

​They went up against the top-seeded Amihan Isabel in a hard-fought match, which led them to the ultimate rematch: a Battle for Third against the host team, TAS.

​With everything on the line, they locked in for the decision game and dominated the final set!

What a way to fight back and secure 2nd Place! So proud of the heart shown by this team! 🏆🔥

A special thank you goes to Hon. Reynaldo Toritcha, Chairperson of Brgy. Dita, for generously providing our transportation. We are also incredibly grateful to Hon. Ritchel Brosas, Brgy. Councilor, for personally driving the team safely to the tournament. Your commitment to the youth and your spirit of service serve as a constant inspiration to our team.

THE THUNDER STRIKES BACK!

Dita Mighty Thunder (DMT) didn't just win this afternoon—they dominated! The squad put on a clinic against Ormocay Dagami, walking away with a commanding 63–34 victory.

After a tough learning experience in their opener back on March 29, the boys found their rhythm and executed perfectly today. This win brings their record to 1-1, proving that DMT is a serious contender in the Basketball Summer League at Brgy. Malabca.

The energy was high, the defense was locked in, and the momentum is officially on our side. Huge congratulations to the team for bouncing back so strong!

Last night’s Visita Iglesia took us through the beautiful parishes of Dulag, Mayorga, La Paz, Burauen, Dagami, and Tabontabon, finally ending our panata back home in Julita. Each stop was a reminder of the strength found in silence and the beauty of our local traditions.

May this Holy Week bring peace and reflection to us all.

ICYMI: Dita Mighty Thunder (DMT) stormed the court yesterday at the Basketball Summer League in Brgy. Malabca, Burauen, Leyte, with Mr. Jermaine Warrel Aniceto as their Coach!

DMT kicked off the tournament in an intense opening game against Brgy. Catmonan. It was a battle from the jump, but the team struggled to find their rhythm—especially while adjusting to the league's "No Zoning" rule. While the scoreboard didn't lean our way this time, the grind doesn't stop. They're taking the lessons, hitting the court, and coming back stronger.

The Lion roared!

ICYMI: The Lionhearts Men’s and Women’s Teams brought the heat to the One-Day Volleyball League in Brgy. Villahermosa, Julita, Leyte on March 1 (Women) and 20 (Men). While the results didn't go our way this time, the team showed incredible heart and refused to go down without a fight. Proud of the grit shown on the court!
