SBP–ARA–Magallanes Elite Referees Incorporated (MERI) continues to extend its service to the community through its unwavering passion and dedication to basketball officiating.

Under the guidance of SBP Municipal Coordinator of Magallanes, Sir Jairus Antiado Malto and the leadership of President Sbp Magallanes Sir Rolando T. Mercado Jr., MERI proudly served as part of the officiating team for the 5x5 Basketball Men competition during the Magallanes National High School / Magallanes School of Fisheries Intramurals 2026.

As a manifestation of its commitment to community service, our referees rendered their officiating services FREE OF CHARGE, in support of our young athletes and the successful conduct of the school’s intramurals.

This is more than just officiating—it is our way of giving back to the community that has continuously supported us.

What a thrilling basketball game last night! 😱🏀

In the U30 Division of Irosin Cup 2026, San Juan and Bacolod faced each other in the final game of the elimination round. It may not have been a championship game yet, but the intensity, competitiveness, and determination of both teams made it feel like one!

With a jam-packed crowd at the Irosin Public Auditorium, the energy inside the venue was incredible. Every possession, every defensive stop, and every big play had the crowd on its feet! 🔥👏
