Behind every powerful performance is trust, teamwork, and true collaboration. 🤝✨

The Sumalaút Dance Troupe proudly performed last April 11, 2026, at Damires Hills Farm & Spa Resort in Janiuay, Iloilo during the Iloilo Meet & Greet of Mega Gloryoung International, in collaboration with iRush & Glamourush, and in partnership with Damires Hills Farm & Spa Resort.

This collaboration between iRush & Glamourush, Sumalaút, Damires Hills Farm & Spa Resort, and MGI made the event even more special—bringing together talent, creativity, and shared passion to create a truly unforgettable experience.

With every step, rhythm, and movement, we showcased not just our talent but our dedication, unity, and love for dance. It was truly a privilege to perform and entertain guests during such a meaningful and vibrant gathering.

Moments like these remind us that dance is more than just performance—it is about connection, expression, and collaboration that brings people together.

January was truly a month of passion, artistry, and unforgettable stages for the Sumalaút Dance Troupe.

📅 January 23, 2026 — Mr. & Ms. JNCHS 2026
The Sumalaút Dance Troupe ignited the stage during the Mr. & Ms. JNCHS 2026 coronation night! We opened the production number with a bang — starting with a flowy and graceful rumba, transitioning into a hot and energetic casual wear performance. Every move was filled with confidence, elegance, and excitement, making the night truly electrifying.

📅 January 24, 2026 — Dinagyang Performance at Damires Hills Farm and Resort
Culture met celebration as we brought our Dinagyang performance to life at Damires Hills Farm and Resort. The vibrant energy, powerful rhythms, and colorful movements left an amazing impression on all the guests we entertained.

SDT First Performance for the Year 2026✨💃

Yesterday, January 8, 2026, the Sumalaút Dance Troupe proudly performed at the Convergence of School Division of Iloilo Campus Journalism Advocates held at JNCHS Covered Gym. The troupe showcased their incredible talents, abilities, and dedication through a vibrant and energetic samba performance that truly reflected their passion for dance and commitment to excellence.

This performance marked a meaningful start to the year, filled with hard work, teamwork, and the joy of sharing our art with a wider audience. Every step, rhythm, and movement was a result of countless hours of practice and shared determination as a troupe.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Artistic Director, Rosheilan Louis C. Adelantar, and our Co-Adviser, Mrs. Darlin Mae L. The Sumalaút Dance Troupe proudly took part in the celebration of the Fiesta Coronation held yesterday, December 22, 2025, at the Guadalupe Covered Gym. With passion in every step and purpose in every movement, the troupe once again showcased the beauty of culture, tradition, and artistic expression.

The audience was treated to three graceful, lively, and captivating performances—a vibrant Cultural Dance, the elegant Pantomina (Folk Dance), and the energetic Sinamba sa Regatta. Each performance reflected the dedication, discipline, and unity of the dancers, bringing stories of heritage and celebration to life on stage.

“Milestones are best celebrated when art, passion, and gratitude come together.”

Last December 19, 2025, the Sumalaút Dance Troupe was honored to perform at the 50th Golden Anniversary Celebration of Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital held in Cabatuan, Iloilo. Being part of such a meaningful milestone was truly a privilege for the troupe.

We proudly presented two dynamic performances—a powerful Cultural Dance that reflected our rich heritage, and an energetic Samba that brought vibrance and joy to the celebration. Through these dances, we shared our passion, dedication, and respect for an institution that has served the community for five decades.

Our sincerest gratitude goes to our Artistic Director, Rosheilan Louis C. Adelantar, and our Co-Adviser, Mrs. Darlin Mae L. “Dance is the hidden language of the soul, spoken through movement and felt by the heart.”

IDLAK 2025, held last December 15, 2025, in front of the Janiuay Municipal Hall, was a night where passion, culture, and artistry came together as one. Under the open sky and glowing lights, our troupe shared stories beyond words—stories of heritage, joy, struggle, and dreams—through movement and emotion.

The stage came alive as we performed Cultural Dance, honoring our roots and traditions; Samba, bursting with energy, rhythm, and celebration; and Hiraya (Contemporary), a deeply expressive piece that embodied hope, dreams, and the courage to feel. Every step, every turn, and every beat reflected countless hours of practice, sacrifice, and trust in one another. It was more than a performance—it was a collective heartbeat shared with everyone who watched.

Our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude goes to our Artistic Director Mr. Rosheilan Louis C. Adelantar, whose guidance, artistic excellence, and unwavering dedication shaped us into stronger performers and more disciplined individuals. Your belief in our potential pushed us to go beyond our limits. To our Co-Adviser, Ma’am Darlin Mae L. Macahilo, thank you for your constant support, patience, and genuine care. Your guidance and love kept the troupe grounded, motivated, and united throughout the journey.

Last November 26, 2025, we proudly carried the colors, stories, and spirit of our culture onto the Lin-ay stage. Through the powerful steps of Bagani, the vibrant celebration of Sinamba sa Regatta, and the enchanting grace of Hiraya, the Sumalaút Dance Troupe showcased not just performance—but passion, identity, and unity.

Every movement told a story.
Every beat echoed our heritage.
And every smile reflected the pride of being Ilonggo. 💛💙

This performance would not have been possible without the unwavering guidance, patience, and artistry of our Artistic Director, Rosheilan Louis C. Adelantar, whose vision continues to shape us into dancers who perform with both discipline and heart.
