With Batang Pinoy (Youth Nationals) fast approaching, we are grateful for for their generosity and support they’ve shown our kids. They’ve been a regular supporter of our kids and understand how difficult it can be for the kids to meet their nutrition goals especially when it comes to protein.

The HD Weightlifting Academy partnered with and to provide nutrition education to our kids and to help them understand the value in fueling for performance. This is a big step in our program to give back and hopefully the kids can take what they are learning and pass it on to the new kids as we are 45 kids strong in the academy.

We had such a great time meeting the folks and so grateful for their hospitality and eagerness to Learn Weightlifting from Coach and Coach and our little assistant Sam Sam.

The biggest take away from this seminar? Great things happen with likeminded individuals who are willing to work towards improving and learning new skills, or mastering their technique through experience and educational teachings.

Official Statement.

It has come to our attention on multiple occasions that a Weightlifting club located outside of the Philippines is using the name “HD Weightlifting Academy” along with the designation of their region, which may imply an affiliation with the HD (Hidilyn Diaz) Weightlifting Academy in the Philippines. We wish to clarify that we have no ongoing association with this club in any capacity.

While we remain dedicated to supporting grassroots initiatives and fostering the growth of weightlifting, we encourage continued support for the athletes of this club, as they represent promising talent. However, we also urge the club to honor its commitment, as stated in 2024, to formally change its name. This will help prevent any potential confusion and ensure clear distinction, particularly in matters related to fundraising and representation. Our annual Lifters for Lifters blessings from our friends in the U.S. have finally arrived and the kids are so thrilled! Thank you and bowery for coming together to give your blessings to the kids. They all read your thoughtful and meaningful letters of inspiration and motivation and will work hard to earn what’s given.

We’ve had countless blessings from our friends from the U.S., Australia, and many more. Thank you for sharing your blessings! We will do our best to share our wealth to the other clubs who need shoes to be filled.

We’ve decided to work on new Designs after our first collab with creating our first 2x2 HD logo Leather patch that can be stuck onto your gym bags or anything that has a velcro lining.

This is our new 2x3 HDWLA Logo leather patches that we are releasing as a preorder which we hope we can carry on hand if we get enough people interested.

Proceeds from these patches will go towards helping finding our travel and competitions for our grassroots this year.

Coach held a 1-on-1 intro weightlifting session this weekend.

It’s the New Year and the HD weightlifting Academy has been working hard to provide means and ways to teach beginner’s weightlifting through our Private weekend or weekly camps.

Get to meet & our grassroots kids and how we are working to develop the next Olympic Medalist in Weightlifting.

Take a short escape from the hustle & bustle of city life and step into a peaceful retreat in the beautiful province of Rizal. A 2 hour drive from Manila, our pet-friendly simple A-frame accommodations are close to 100% complete but can accommodate 3-4 people.
