ASOG BADMINTON CLUB MINI-TOURNAMENT 2025

GENERAL RULE
A. The Mini-Tournament is open for residents of Rinconada area with only One (1) Category, Men’s Singles for Enthusiasts.
B. The Registration Fee is P300.00 per head plus a court fee of P30.00. For ABC members, the registration fee is only P250.00 per head plus a court fee of P20.00.
C. Present/former varsity players, present/former Palarong Bicol/PRISAA/SCUAA Players, or players who already joined the higher meet are excluded to join the Mini-Tournament.
D. Players who are not included in Rule C but his skills in playing is just but similar to them is also excluded to join the Mini-Tournament.
E. Protest should be done prior the start of the game. No substitution is allowed and the registration is non-refundable.
F. There will be three (3) brackets with a maximum of 6 players for every Bracket or a limited of 18 players all in all. First come first serve basis.
G. Round Robin will be applied. But in the event that the winner in a bracket is already determined, the remaining games of the rest of the players will no longer be played.
H. Modified scoring shall be applied during the game with only 35 points per game. For championship game, the game will be played up to 21 points same of usual badminton rules of best of three games.
I. Feather shuttlecock will be used during the first games of all the players and during the championship matches and nylon shuttlecock will be used on the succeeding games of elimination rounds. Using of feather shuttlecocks during the succeeding games of elimination round will also be allowed but for the expense of the players.
J. The top one player per category will advance for Championship round. Round Robin will be applied. The most number of wins will be declared the champion, then the First Runner-up, and the Second Runner-Up. In case of triple tie, points system will be applied.
K. Champion will receive P1,500.00 plus certificate, First Runner-Up will receive P1,200.00 plus certificate, and the Second Runner-Up will received P800.00 plus certificate.
L. Deadline of registration is on May 30, 2025. Interested participants shall send their names to to JONJON R. MONTE for screening and the payment shall be sent thru gcash number: 0912 732 7522 after the management’s confirmation. No Registration No play policy shall be applied.
