I may play other sports,
hear the crowd roar,
feel the rush of competition —
but nothing ever feels like home
the way futsal and football do.

I miss the sound of boots on concrete,
the echo of every pass,
the sweat, the bruises,
the laughter after training,
and the silence before kickoff.

I miss chasing a ball
like nothing else in the world mattered.
For minutes,
life felt simple
just heart, passion, and the game.

Now reality pulls harder,
work fills the days,
dreams are replaced with responsibilities,
and the fire that once burned loudly
whispers instead of screams.

But deep inside me,
the love never left.
Because some people play football,
while others live it.

And no matter how far life takes me,
a part of my soul
will always be on that court,
under those lights,
waiting for the ball at my feet again.
