Hanggang ngayon di parin ako makapaniwala na kasali or parte ako ng roster at saka sa history ng Philippine Ultimate Team. Siguro dun na lalabas lahat ng excitement the day magsisimula na yung game. Nasa utak ko is, “totoo ba ‘to?” Like, grabeee. SEA GAMES baiii!! Lahat kami excited maglaro sa SEA Games.
Hindi ito madali para sa isang player. Kailangan mo lang i-push ang sarili mo. Kailangan mo i-motivate sarili mo kasi the work isn’t over yet until the last step is done, and that is getting that GOLD!
Lahat challenge para sakin. Mentally, physically, emotionally. Pati kung paano mo i-manage yung oras mo sa commitments and responsibilities. Trainings, work, and rest. All I have to do is be 100% ready in everything I do. I have to balance my time, making sure na my body has good rest and stays healthy.
Ito na ang chance para mapakita sa buong mundo kung paano tayo manalo sa kahit anong podium. Ito na din siguro ang chance na makalaro ang PH flying disc community sa mga future Olympics. Ito na ang first step. Ang gawin lang ay ibigay lang ang dapat ibigay.
The first time I played this sport, I never thought I would be part of the National Team. But now, it’s one of my realities. To all the future players who want to be part of the National Team: discipline, humility, dream big, and always try and try kay walay mawala if suwayan. Learn new skills every day and tiwala lang sa sarili, because when the time comes nga makuha na nimo imung goal, just stay humble and wag kalimutan saan ka nanggaling. Kasi yan ang tunay na basehan kung gaano ka kagaling na player. Hindi lang puro skills, attitude rin in and outside the field.
