Athletes- you can’t have it both ways.

You can’t achieve a goal that only a few ever achieve if you live like most kids live.

You can’t have exceptional dreams if the hours you spend toward them are average.

You can’t claim to want to do whatever it takes to make it in your sport (whatever that may mean to you) but not expect to make sacrifices.

You can’t only feed yourself cereal and pop tarts and expect your body to perform the way you need it to.

You can’t hang out all night, get 5 hours of sleep, and expect your stamina and energy to be where it needs to be.

You can’t involve yourself in drama and questionable social media interactions if you have hopes for long-term success in your sport.

In life, you’re either dreaming of the life you want to live but living like everyone else, or you’re working towards your dream and making sacrifices along the way. -CTTO
