Congratulations to all our RJTG Jins who participated in the 89th Charter Day Taekwondo Championships held on August 16, 2026, at SM Iloilo Terminal Market, and brought home Gold πŸ₯‡ and Silver πŸ₯ˆ medals!

It was a great journey and valuable exposure for both our advanced athletes and beginners. More than the medals, every match was an opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and grow as a martial artist.

Watching you fight yesterday with yourself inside the mat, Son, was very difficult for me to see, especially knowing that you were facing an experienced Black Belt. But as your father and your instructor, I want you to understand that there is no shortcut to improvement.

As Master Hong said last night, β€œStand up and start again if you want to improve.” This is one of the important tenets of Taekwondoβ€”Self-Confidence.

This is Martial Arts. This is part of the process. There is nothing we can do but face the challenge, learn from it, and keep moving forward. Every difficult match is an opportunity to become stronger, wiser, and better.

The Bronze Medal πŸ₯‰ you earned at the Visayas Age Group Taekwondo Championship is a witness to your perseverance and Indomitable Spirit. Even after you were injured during the match, you still found the courage to continue and finish the fight.
