As a coach, nothing makes me prouder than seeing our Isabela Chess Academy players growing, improving, and stepping confidently into every competition. But seeing you compete against each other at the City of Ilagan Athletic Association is never easy.

You are not just players — you are teammates, training partners, and a family built through shared sacrifices and countless hours over the board. Watching you face one another reminds me how far you’ve all come… and how much you truly deserve to win.

No matter the result, remember this:

Your real opponent is your past self.
Your strength comes from the same home—our academy.
Your sportsmanship is your greatest victory.
Enemy on the board, friends in real life!

Win or lose, my pride for each of you never changes. Continue to lift each other up, celebrate each other’s successes, and grow stronger together.

We are incredibly proud of our players, coaches, and supportive parents who continue to uphold excellence on and off the board. This triumph reflects your dedication and teamwork.

Region 2 Chess League 2025 – A Checkmate Success!

The Region 2 Chess League officially concluded last October 4, 2025, at Northstar Mall, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, bringing together some of the region’s most promising chess talents for a thrilling day of strategic battles and sportsmanship.

Players from across the region showcased their skills and passion for the game, making the tournament a memorable one for participants and spectators alike. The event not only celebrated competitive chess but also promoted camaraderie, discipline, and mental sharpness among the youth and seasoned players.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants who made the event a resounding success!

A big thank you to our organizers, coaches, and supportive parents who helped bring this event to life.
