The Peer Educators of Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School proudly participated in PAGDUMALA, a seminar-workshop organized by the Local Youth Development Council of the Municipality of Pontevedra.
The activity focused on strengthening the participantsโ and student leaders understanding of proper parliamentary procedures, meeting management, and resolution making. The sessions highlighted how organized discussions, proper parliamentary practices, and well-crafted resolutions can help young leaders effectively address concerns and turn ideas into meaningful action.
The learning sessions were facilitated by Ms. Eunice Tumlos, LPT, who discussed Proper Meeting Management, Procedures, and Parliamentary Practices, and Mr. John Patrick B. Eswan, LPT, who shared insights on Drafting of Resolutions: Principles, Procedures, and Best Practices in Resolution Making.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our School Principal, Maโam Gelyn Facto, Municipal Mayor Hon. Henry D. Tumlos, and our Teen Center Coordinator, Maโam Jella Mae Biaco Daynolo for their continuous support and for providing opportunities that empower our youth to learn, lead, and serve.
Also joining this meaningful activity were the Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School SSLG, YES-O, and Senior Red Cross Youth, representing Avelinian youth in strengthening leadership and active participation in the community.
