Ka Basketball!

The court is all set for the Final game of the Inter-town Basketball League of Brgy. Central Poblacion Hilongos Leyte. This coming September 27, 2024, at North Felominian Gym 5:00 PM.

The championship game is featured by the WRLG (Hilongos) versus JCR KAP Resto (Baybay City}. JCR KAP Resto will try to put a mark on the unblemished record of their opposition as the WRLG remains undefeated at this tournament stage. The last time this team encountered, WRLG won decisively.

Can JCR KAP Resto pull off an upset to beat their highly favored opposition? Or can WRLG repeat their dominance and win the first-ever Inter-town Basketball League of Brgy. Central Poblacion and be crowned as champions.

JUST IN: 🏀🔥 INTER-TOWN BASKETBALL LEAGUE🔥🏀

Day 3 Result

In the first game, the WRLG Hilongos pushed their gas pedal right from the tip-off. They maximized their opponent's errors, and turnovers and led early in the game. JCR-KAP Resto went on the offensive in the latter part of the third quarter cutting the lead to just six points. But in the last quarter, WRLG Hilongos showed composure and secured an outright play in the finals.

The second game was full of court action as the game was decided to the last seconds. Bato Lyte was leading early in the game to fifteen points but Prince Li-Yums & JB5 Inopacan showed their poise and carved their way to an epic comeback. The remaining last minute of the game was a show of willingness and grit. The chase-down block by their veteran player Jeff Pria was pivotal for the win of Prince Li-Yums & JB5 Inopacan as it could go into an overtime.

Expect an intense hard-court battle tonight as the two remaining teams are eyeing a spot to play in the Finals versus the WRLG Hilongos.

The Prince Li-Yums & JB5 Inopacan will take on the JCR-KAP Resto Baybay City for a slugfest basketball game. Inopacan is on a roll right now as they are coming from a hard-fought win last night versus Bato Leyte can their plays in the paint enough to get a shot in the finals or will JCR KAP Resto avenge their frustration from a crashing loss versus the WRLG Hilongos and taking the spot to get a rematch and win the chip this time around.

Our first game of day 3 of the tournament is the battle of powerhouses between WRLG Hilongos and JCR-KAP Resto Baybay City. Both teams try to remain undefeated and secure a spot to play in the championship round. Expect a full-throttle battle as this team is familiar already and rivals in their previous competitions.

Meanwhile, the second game is a win-or-go-home for both teams as they battle for an outright podium finish. Can Prince Li-Yums & JB5 Inopacan bounce back from their tough loss or will Bato Leyte continue the resurgence just like they did in their game against Padre Burgos.

Day 2 Result

In the first game, Bato Leyte went to take on the fan-favorite the Lungsodaan Padre Burgos. The game was suspenseful in the later part of the last quarter as Padre Burgos rallied back to cut the deficit to just 3 points, but Bato Leyte showed their composure and escaped with a win and continued to stay alive in the tournament.

The second game was a seesaw battle between the WRLG Hilongos and Prince Li-Yums & JB5 Inopacan. Inopacan went on early in the first half with an offensive barrage, showing their chemistry. In the third quarter, both teams want to assert momentum and dominate both ends of the floor. Ultimately, WRLG Hilongos prevailed and got their second straight win in the tournament.

JUST IN: 🏀🔥 INTER-TOWN BASKETBALL LEAGUE🔥🏀

Day 1

Here is the result of our first-day game schedule in the first game JCR-KAP RESTO BAYBAY CITY dominates Lungsodaan Padre Burgos Southern Leyte from the start JCR KAPRESTO showing their aggressiveness in the offense by taking an early lead by 18 points in the first quarter. Padre Burgos tried to run a comeback early in the third quarter cutting the lead to just 6 points, but JCR KAPRESTO proved they handled their opponent in the end.

WRLG Hilongos and Bato Leyte went wire-to-wire in the second game in the first half with an even score of 35 points. But in the 3rd quarter, WRLG Hilongos found their offense's rhythm and flow, leaving their opponent to struggle to counter. In the end, WRLG Hilongos won with a commanding margin.
