Noong 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟲 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, matagumpay na isinagawa ang KNP sa 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼. Isang konkretong hakbang ng pamahalaan upang unahin at palakasin ang kapakanan ng 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 sa Lungsod ng General Trias sa pamamagitan ng paglalapit ng kanilang produkto sa publiko.

Sa sistemang 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻, direktang naibenta ng mga prodyuser ang kanilang de-kalidad na ani sa makatarungang presyo at nagresulta sa 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 at 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁-𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗻 para sa bawat pamilyang Gentriseño. Sa tulong ng 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀 at mga katuwang na ahensya tulad ng 𝗗𝗔-𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗭𝗢𝗡, 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘, 𝗗𝗧𝗜, 𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗, 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚, patuloy na itinataguyod ng KADIWA ang isang inklusibo at progresibong ekonomiya kung saan ang bawat mamamayan ay nakikinabang.

Muling matagumpay na isinagawa ang KNP noong 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟲 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 sa 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, sa pakikipagtulungan ng iba’t ibang tanggapan ng 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀, 𝗗𝗔-𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗭𝗢𝗡, 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘, 𝗗𝗧𝗜, 𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗 𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚.

The 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀, through the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, successfully conducted the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗔𝗙𝗖) 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, bringing together 𝟯𝟯 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. The activity served as an avenue to strengthen coordination, share updates, and ensure that programs remain responsive to the needs of our local farming communities.

During the session,𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗣. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘇, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿., 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩, presented the 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 of the City Agriculture Office, while 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖. 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮, 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙑𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣, discussed updates on 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀. An 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 was also conducted, providing participants the opportunity to raise their concerns, insights, and recommendations, which were duly noted by the Office of the City Agriculturist for appropriate action and continuous support.

With the active participation of our 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, the City remains steadfast in its shared goal of building a 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱-𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀 where the welfare of every 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲ñ𝗼 remains at the heart of our efforts.

The 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀, through the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, is currently conducting a 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 for 𝟭𝟮𝟱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀. This initiative aims to strengthen their technical knowledge by promoting updated, efficient, and climate-resilient rice farming practices for every 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲ñ𝗼.

As part of the activity, City Agriculture Office staff facilitated discussions on proper fertilizer management and application, guiding rice farmers on the correct timing, dosage, and methods of application to maximize crop yield while ensuring sustainable and cost-efficient farming practices.

In support of this initiative, the City Agriculture Office, in collaboration with the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗩-𝗔, also distributed agricultural inputs to 125 rice farmer-beneficiaries. These include 𝟮𝟭𝟭 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿, 𝟮𝟭𝟭 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿, and 𝟲𝟯𝟯 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 provided through the Department of Agriculture Region IV-A.

This ensures that our rice farmers are equipped not only with enhanced knowledge but also with the essential resources needed to improve productivity and sustainability.

Through these combined efforts, the City remains committed to empowering its rice farmers and strengthening local food security.
