CONGRATULATIONS, R12A TAEKWONDO COMMUNITY!

What a truly memorable and successful event!

The 2026 SMART MVPSF R12A Regional New Face of the Year Taekwondo Championships once again showcased the passion, dedication, discipline, and indomitable spirit that define our Region 12A Taekwondo family.

Congratulations to all our athletes, medalists, champions, runners-up, and Top 10 chapters for your outstanding performances. Your hard work, perseverance, sacrifices, and countless hours of training have paid off, and you have made your respective gyms, families, and communities proud.

More importantly, we would like to recognize every athlete who stepped onto the competition area. Whether you brought home a medal or not, you are all winners. Every match fought, every poomsae performed, and every challenge faced has contributed to your growth not only as athletes but also as individuals. Win or lose, the courage to compete is already a victory in itself.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to all Masters, instructors, coaches, parents, guardians, referees, technical officials, tournament staff, volunteers, and participating chapters whose dedication and unwavering support made this championship possible. Your commitment continues to strengthen and inspire the growth of Taekwondo in Region 12A.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the City Government of Koronadal, under the leadership of Mayor Erlinda P. Araquil, for its continued support of sports development and youth programs. Special thanks to Councilor Maylene Bascon for representing the City Government and for delivering an inspiring message that motivated our athletes, coaches, and Taekwondo community.

Likewise, we extend our sincere appreciation to the City of Koronadal Sports Development Office headed by Mr. Arnold Pagdato, for its valuable support and partnership in helping make this championship a success.

Our gratitude also goes to the Philippine Taekwondo Association National Headquarters, SMART MVP Sports Foundation, Paraiso Verde Hotel Gymnasium, our event partners, sponsors, and supporters for their invaluable contributions to the successful conduct of this regional championship.

As we celebrate the achievements of our athletes and chapters, let us remember that while medals determine the results of a competition, character, discipline, respect, humility, and sportsmanship define a true Taekwondo practitioner.

May this event continue to inspire every athlete to dream bigger, train harder, and strive for excellence both on and off the competition floor.

ONE REGION. ONE TAEKWONDO FAMILY. ONE R12A.

Congratulations to all participants, coaches, and supporters!

See you in our next championship!
