AKUMA Rises at the 1st SIBUYAS FESTIVAL ⚔️🧅🏆

The ALAB KAMPILAN UNION OF MARTIAL ARTS (AKUMA) took the 1st Sibuyas Festival Arnis Invitational by storm, securing the 2nd Overall Championship trophy! From lightning-fast livestick rounds to technical padded matches, our warriors showcased discipline, heart, and the true spirit of Filipino Martial Arts.

• LUZON & NCR PEKAF QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT 2026

The Alab Kampilan Union of Martial Arts recently participated in the previously held tournament of PEKAF at Tagaytay Velodrome.

Carrying the name of LSAI - AKUMA, the Alab Kampilan players gained knowledge, experience, and discipline on the said event.

The team was able to be qualified for the National Battle of the Champions (that will be held on March 13-15, 2026 @ Manila) by winning one silver 🥈 at Cruiser Weight Division (Padded Category) by their General Secretary - Ms. Alliya Valencia. 🎉

SIXTEEN YEARS OF ARNIS AS THE NATIONAL MARTIAL ART AND SPORT

Ngayong araw, minamarkahan natin ang ika-16 na taon mula nang maisabatas natin ang RA 9850, Declaring Arnis as the Philippine National Martial Art and Sport, na tayo po ang author and sponsor.

Since then, lalo na pong lumawak ang paglalaro ng arnis sa Pilipinas pati sa ibang bansa. Naibandera na rin ng ating mga arnisador ang galing ng Pilipino sa mga international competitions.

As the head of the Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation, I am very proud of how the sport has grown over the last sixteen years—at alam kong marami pang mararating ito sa mga susunod na taon.

Mabuhay ang arnis!
