Another memorable experience at the Invitational Volleyball Tournament in Enrique Villanueva! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you, Lord, for guiding us throughout the tournament. Thank you to the Mayor Ruth B. Aque, Vice Mayor Pal-ing,the entire Technical Working Group led by Maโ€™am Yenyen AqueQuebec, generous sponsors (coach leuenel Campos) (Lander Tajeros) ( Coach Lennie U Martinez) ( La Madre) (Lj Laude Family), and especially to Coach Lennie for your unwavering support, guidance, and trust in our team.

As a former COSCA Cardinals athlete, I am deeply grateful for the disciplinary training and spiritual guidance that the coaches and mentors instilled in every player. The values of discipline, faith, unity, respect, and perseverance that I learned extend far beyond sports and continue to guide me in life today.

The challenges and experiences I encountered both on and off the court shaped my character and served as a constant reminder to strive to be a better person every day. Through victories and setbacks, I learned the importance of hard work, resilience, and humility.

Being part of this team also taught me the true meaning of camaraderie. My teammates, coaches, and mentors became my second family in school, always supporting and encouraging one another through every challenge and achievement. The friendships and bonds we built both on and off the court created memories that I will always cherish, and I am truly grateful for the relationships I gained as an athlete.

All of these valuable lessons have helped me grow not only as an athlete but also as an individual. I will always be proud to have been part of the COSCA Cardinals family and thankful for the experiences that helped shape the person I am today.

Team Captain

Being a COSCA Cardinal athlete was more than just playing volleyballโ€”it became a huge part of my life and who I am today.

For three years as a student-athlete and two years as a team captain, I experienced both victories and setbacks that taught me lessons I will carry forever. Volleyball taught me discipline, responsibility, resilience, and the importance of trusting the people around me.

I still remember our first NegOrPRISAA. We failed to bring home the gold medal, and as team captain, I blamed myself. Being the only senior left on the team at that time made the pressure feel even heavier. There was even a moment when I wanted to give up and leave the team.

Looking back now, Iโ€™m glad I stayed.

I still had dreams for the team, and together we worked hard to achieve them. We learned that one loss doesnโ€™t define us. What matters is how we get back up, keep fighting, and continue believing in ourselves.

My final playing year was one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Through FCA Dumaguete and FCA Central Visayas, I gained more than athletic experienceโ€”I gained life lessons, lifelong friendships, and a stronger character.

I would like to sincerely thank Coach Leunel for your guidance, support, and for always believing in me. Thank you for helping shape me into the person I am today.

To Coach Lennie, thank you for giving me the opportunity to proudly represent COSCA.

And to Coach Kirby, thank you for always believing in me, pushing me to be better, and helping me grow not only as an athlete but also as a person. Your trust gave me the confidence to go beyond my limits.

Most of all, thank you to my teammates, coaches, FCA family, and everyone who became part of this journey.

Being a Cardinal will always be one of the best chapters of my lifeโ€”not because of the medals or achievements alone, but because of the people, lessons, and memories that shaped me along the way.

Being an athlete of the COSCA Cardinals has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my college journey. As a full-time working student, balancing my responsibilities at work, academics, and training was often challenging. However, being part of the team taught me the importance of discipline, time management, and commitment. It pushed me to organize my schedule effectively, prioritize my responsibilities, and stay focused on my goals. Through every training session, competition, work shift, and academic requirement, I learned resilience and perseverance. The experience not only helped me grow as an athlete but also shaped me into a more responsible, determined, and well-rounded individual. I am proud to be a COSCA Cardinals and grateful for the lessons, friendships, and opportunities that have positively impacted my life.
