𝐈𝐒𝐔-𝐄 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐯𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 "𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚" 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐁𝐲𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠

Cauayan City, Isabela- aiming to extend and utilize completed researches and innovations, ISU-E Cardava Research Center holds hands-on training on Palletize Biochar for Cardava Banana Production and Cardava byproduct processing at DAR provincial office on March 15, 2022.

The training was attended by the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) of the Capuseran Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Benito Soliven, Isabela and participated by ARBs from Cauayan Forest Region Agriculture Cooperative, Sta. Maria, Cauayan City, Isabela. Dr. Martina Penalber and Assistant Professor Batiana Mendoza shared their expertise on the identified training contents.

Dr. Artemio A. Martin, project leader targets to maximize the utilization of Cardava Production Technology and the development of byproducts to local communities. Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, President of the University earlier reminded research centers operating in the university to extend developed technologies to marginal communities as one of the mantras of the institution.
