Native to the warm tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean, the Harlequin Shrimp is a small but fearless crustacean famous for its beautiful pink, blue, purple, and cream-colored patterns.

Despite their delicate appearance, these shrimp are skilled hunters that feed almost entirely on starfish, using their powerful claws to flip and eat their prey.

Harlequin Shrimp are usually found in pairs and spend much of their time hiding among corals and rocks on the ocean floor.

✨ Did you know: These shrimp can slowly eat a starfish over several days while keeping it alive for fresh food!
