The curtains have officially closed on this year's District Meet, and while the championship trophy was not ours to bring home, the journey we shared is a victory in itself.
To our CORNHS ORCAS Volleyball Team, thank you for wearing the jersey with pride, fighting for every point, and refusing to back down until the final whistle. Every dive, every save, every cheer, and every sacrifice reflected the heart of an ORCA, a team that never quits.
This tournament did not define our destination; it simply revealed the areas where we can grow. We may have fallen short today, but this is not the end of our story. We will return stronger, grittier, and hungrier to earn the title we seek. The lessons learned, the friendships strengthened, and the character built through every match are victories no medal can measure.
To everyone who stood behind us, our coaches, teachers, parents, alumni, friends, sponsors, and every individual who extended financial assistance, prayers, encouragement, or any form of support, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We may not be able to mention each one of you, but God knows every act of kindness you have shown, and we are deeply grateful for every sacrifice you made to help our team.
To our worthy opponent in the championship match, thank you for giving us a game we'll never forget. You pushed us beyond our limits and reminded us why we fell in love with this sport. While the result wasn't in our favor, it was an honor to share the court with a team that plays with the same passion, determination, and respect for the game. Congratulations on a well-deserved victory. Until we meet again, may we both continue to grow and inspire others through the sport we love. See you next season.
Lastly, to our graduating ORCAS, thank you for leaving a legacy that will forever be part of this team.
