It was a historic run for Mucdol Seniors Basketball Team as they ended their 24-year drought of a Final Round of the Dipaculao Town Fiesta Basketball Cup.

The league’s favorite South Poblacion reclaimed the crown and defeated Mucdol in a Best of 3 series. It was an intense battle betwen the two finalist proving they are the top contenders for the Mayor’s Cup 2025 Championship trophy.

With a commanding lead going into the 4th quarter of the Semi-Final round, Mucdol used a balanced offense and defense to dispatch the Dinadiawan Team, 60–51, securing the first spot in the championship round!

In view of the protest filed against the SBP Officials of Dipaculao during the MUCDOL- DINADIAWAN Quarter Final game yesterday, it decided to no longer play the last game of the QF vs SOUTH. Still, this team qualifies in the SEMI-FINAL round with projected rank of #3.

With a 3–0 win–loss record, Mucdol currently leads all teams in the standings and strengthens their chances of clinching a coveted spot in the Semi-Finals. Their consistent performance on both ends of the court has positioned them as one of the strongest contenders in the tournament.
