Laurence Kerr Ursua; the defense specialist and goalkeeper of Dipaculao National High School (Bisons) starred as one of the representatives of Central Luzon Regional Football Association, at the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) U16|U19 Boys' National Championship 2025 - Regional Qualifiers this December, held at Lingayen, Pangasinan.
After a marvelous first place finish at the last Central Luzon Regional Football Association (CLRFA) Central Luzon Domestic Qualifier, Ursua dominated and was selected to be the main goalkeeper of Pampanga Football Club to represent CLRFA at the Regional level.
Cordillera Administrative Region Football Association (CARFA), conquered the tournament bringing home the championship, Olongapo City–Zambales Football Association (OCZFA) fell short behind CARFA, bringing home the second place, while Central Luzon Regional Football Association (CLRFA) bagged the third place, and next to them was the host, Pangasinan Football Association (PFA) that was left behind at the fourth place.
"Masaya ako at excited din bago pa lang magsimula, nag-struggle lang siguro kasi walang proper training dahil busy din, bago lang din sa team kaya nahihirapan pa makipag-communicate tapos yung training nung mismong laban na" Ursua stated.
Although there were a lot of problems, Ursua managed to show off what a Batang Dipac High can do, with his resiliency, perseverance, and his love for the sport, he managed to overcome the challenges.
