Showcasing exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit, players battled through intense matches that highlighted the growing grassroots badminton movement in Davao del Sur and neighboring areas. The tournament served not only as a platform for athletic excellence but also as a venue for fostering camaraderie, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement through sport. The 1st DAVSURANON Sports Fest 2026 officially commenced on May 14, 2026 with an energetic and colorful opening through the DAVSURANON Dance Fiesta, gathering the vibrant participation of the Davao del Sur State College community. Featuring more than 50 competing entries from PATH Fit students and drawing an estimated crowd of over 1,500 attendees, the event transformed the venue into a celebration of rhythm, creativity, and collective spirit. More than a competition, the Dance Fiesta became a powerful showcase of student talent, physical expression, teamwork, and cultural appreciation, reflecting the essence of holistic education and active campus life. The remarkable turnout and overwhelming enthusiasm from participants, faculty, organizers, and supporters marked a strong and memorable beginning of this historic three-day celebration anchored on the theme, โ€œPaghiusa pinaagi sa Dula, Kultura, ug Kadasigโ€, uniting the community through sports, culture, and passion.
