A UNIQUE DRAG RACE THIS WEEKEND! Pinasahi na lumba sa COASTAL ROAD TODAY TO SUNDAY.

One of the highlights of the upcoming fourth Ground Image National Bracket Racing Quartermile set will be the DRAG DIESEL CATERGORY on May 27 to 29 at the Davao City Coastal Road (Times Beach portion).

Drag Diesel entries to highlight 4th G.I National Bracket Racing Quartermile

The Drag Diesel category will serve as one of the highlights in the coming fourth Ground Image National Bracket Racing Quartermile set on May 27 to 29 at the Davao City Coastal Road (Times Beach portion).
Mostly composed of SUVs, the Drag Diesel category will not only be featured in the time trial races but will also have their own Quick 8 class, according to overall race director Elben Pang of the organizing Ground Image.
“We are expecting entries from all over the country especially with this new category, Drag Diesel,” Pang said.
With its new race venue, the Davao City Coastal Road (Times Beach portion), some 80 entries or more are seen to compete in the time trial races, joining the Classes A, B and C.
Pang further added that they still have to finish previous races especially in Class A on May 27 to be followed by the time trials. On May 28 and 29 will be race proper for all categories.
“We like to thank the City Government of Davao for allowing us to use the Coastal Road. Bracket Racing is back in Davao City after two years so we expected more people to witness this event. However, we will be having strict protocols during the races,” he said.
On the other hand, the participants race briefing will be set on May 26, Thursday 6 p.m. at Streets-Urban x Lifestyle x Pub. (Jon Develos)
