This bird almost made me come out of my self-imposed (temporary?) birding retirement. It’s so ultra-difficult to spot it’s literally like finding a grain of sand in a beach. It's so rare that there is even an international task force dedicated to documenting this bird.

So, when Bob Natural documented this Spoon-Billed Sandpiper in Balanga, Bataan a few days back, the whole world took notice.
