We’re excited to welcome our Advanced Swimming Coach to the Riptide Racers family!

With a strong foundation in swimming technique, athlete development, and performance training, Coach will be working closely with our swimmers to help them become more efficient, disciplined, confident, and competitive in the water.

As we continue to build a culture centered on Respect, Discipline, and Mindset, we believe that great coaching is not just about making swimmers faster—it’s about developing athletes who understand the process, embrace challenges, and strive for continuous improvement.

Meet Coach Guki!

A Sports Science graduate, former varsity team captain, competitive swimmer, researcher, and coach-bringing science into practice and performance into purpose.

With a foundation in biomechanics, exercise physiology, strength & conditioning, and evidence-based training, Coach Guki is passionate about helping athletes move better, train smarter, and perform at their best.

At Riptide Racers, he brings not only technical knowledge, but also discipline, leadership, and an athlete-centered approach to every session.

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘀.

Grade 7 FIA Eagle 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗶 𝗠. 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶 is giving us plenty to cheer about!

At the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝗰. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟭 𝗟𝗲𝗴 𝟭, Megumi earned 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝟯𝗿𝗱-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 in the 800m freestyle, 200m breaststroke, and 50m backstroke.

And there’s more ahead.

With four 𝗤𝗧𝗦 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, she has qualified for the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, and 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 later this year.

We’re celebrating the medals, yes… but also the 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 behind every race.

Because there’s more to every student than what happens inside the classroom.

At FIA, we believe their 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 are worth celebrating… in every arena.
