Last game of the night was the Championship match between Team Jiggo’s versus Team Alpha!!!

It was indeed one of the best championship game that I’ve ever been to.

The venue was filled with people rooting for their respective teams.

The game was very physical resulting in one ejection and several technical fouls were called. There were a lot of confrontations and trashtalking going making the game more intense!

It was a close game from the start as each quarter ended with the scores tied until the fourth quarter as Team Jiggo’s stayed consistent with their defense and offense.

Team Jiggo’s Carl Abjelina fueled the late run as he just won’t stop running the floor, providing the much needed defense and hitting the necessary shots to give Team Jiggo’s the Championship Title and thus making him the FINALS MVP!!!

First game of the night was between Team Khris Basketball versus Mang Ephoys, both teams fighting for the second runner up position.

Both teams were short handed as Team Khris only had 5 players and Mang Ephoys on the other hand had 6 players.

It was a close match from the start till finish. Team Khris eventually got tired in the 4th quarter as they had no substitutes. Jm Prospero of Mang Ephoys emerges as the player of the game giving Mang Ephoys the second runner up award!

First game will be a showdown between Mang Ephoys and Team Khris fighting for the second runner up position.

This will be a thrilling match to watch as both teams are hungry for a Championship title!

We only had one game for the night but it surely did not disappoint.

As expected, it was an all out battle between Team Alpha and Mang Ephoys! From the first quarter until the fourth quarter, both teams were trading shots. Mang Ephoys had an 8 point lead under 3 minutes but Team Alpha didn’t give up and made a comeback overscoring Mang Ephoys and taking the lead from them.

Down 3 pts and no time outs left, Mang Ephoy’s point guard Ampan ran through the defense of Team Alpha and hit a miracle three pointer with only seconds to spare to send the game to overtime!

The game was decided in overtime when Mang Ephoys ran out of gas as Team Alpha rallied in overtime never looked back and defeating Mang Ephoys!

Player of the game awards goes to Team Alpha’s Venz Luyao. Luyao was very efficient in his mid range shooting and grabbing offensive boards to provide second chance opportunities for his team.

Second game of our semifinals match was between two heavyweights, Team Alpha versus Team Mang Ephoys.

It was an all out war in the paint as Team Alpha’s big men were a huge problem for Mang Ephoys as they were crashing the boards, grabbing offensive rebounds giving team Alpha second chance opportunities.

Team Alpha’s veteran player Jher De Guzman shines as the player of the game as he displayed his veteran moves, hitting his shots from different angles and dishing out 4 assists.

Mang Ephoys has a twice to beat advantage so it will be another exciting match nxt sunday as it will be a WIN OR GO HOME MATCH.
