𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 || 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣-𝙐𝙥 2026

The PFDA–Davao Fish Port Complex joins the nationwide and global call for cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable coastlines through the International Coastal Cleanup 2026.

The activity is graced with the Welcome Remarks of PFDA- DFPC Officer-In-Charge, Marife F. Borja. Participated by PFDA-DFPC employees, janitors, security personnel, guests, and port clients, together with the Davao City Paddling Association, Dragons Del Sur Dragon Boat Team, and Edge Outdoor Specialist.

Today's coastal clean-up brings the port community together in taking action to protect our coastlines and marine environment.

𝙋𝙁𝘿𝘼-𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝙁𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 50 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚

As part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA), the PFDA–Davao Fish Port Complex (PFDA-DFPC) held its Sportsfest, bringing employees together in the spirit of teamwork, camaraderie, and healthy competition. Before the sporting events officially began, the celebration opened with a torch-lighting ceremony. This was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship, led by Officer-In-Charge, AFSD- Ryan Paul P. Bonsubre, reminding all participants to uphold fairness, respect, discipline, and camaraderie throughout the competition.

The Sportsfest featured a variety of sporting events that showcased the skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship of PFDA-DFPC employees, including Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Darts for Men and Women, and Table Tennis for Men and Women.

As PFDA-Davao Fish Port Complex looks back on 50 years of service and progress, the Sportsfest stands as a reminder that its greatest strength is its people—working together, competing with sportsmanship, and moving forward as one.

The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – Davao Fish Port Complex (PFDA-DFPC) joined the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) as one of its regional fish ports in the country. Marking five decades of dedicated service and progress, PFDA-DFPC commemorated this golden milestone through a simple yet meaningful celebration, honoring the institution’s enduring commitment to the Philippine fisheries industry and the communities it serves.

The celebration was blessed with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Henry Campeon, offering gratitude for PFDA’s 50 years of service and seeking continued guidance and blessings for the years ahead.

While simple in celebration, the occasion was filled with gratitude and pride as PFDA-DFPC looks back on the agency’s remarkable journey and looks forward to many more years of service, progress, and commitment.
