"16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being," (Ephesians 3:16)
In our Journey as Christians, we often encounter moments where our strength wanes, and our resolve weakens. Life's challenges, uncertainties, and trials can weigh heavy upon us, threatening to shake our faith or throw us off course.
However, in the midst of these storms, we have a source of strength to draw on that is far bigger than ourselves. When our strength begins to run out, we discover that we are not running our race alone.
Paul's prayer tells us that when we feel our strength running low, we need to remember that we are not running our race alone. God is with us, every step of the way. When we are exhausted or overwhelmed, we can experience that feeling of a strong pair of arms picking us up, filing us up with all that we need, and restoring us to full strength.
God does not only pick us up and help us limp across the finish line. He picks us up, cleans us up, restores in the very depths of our being, and then sends us on our way in a position of supernatural strength.
Deuteronomy 33: 27 "The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
