PLAYERS HEADS UP!!!

VII. FLAGRANT FOULS / SUSPENSION / BAN / EJECTION

A. A Flagrant Foul 1 is excessive or unnecessary contact during a live ball or other unsportsmanlike conduct as determined by the referee.
Penalty:

• The player shall leave the game for 3 minutes.
• During the 3-minute penalty in the 1st to 3rd quarters, no substitution is allowed and the team shall play shorthanded; however, in the 4th quarter, the penalized player may be replaced by another team member.
• Free throws and possession shall be awarded according to the referee's ruling.

B. A Flagrant Foul 2 involves extremely unsportsmanlike, excessive, severe, or dangerous conduct, including but not limited to:

• Excessive contact
• Excessive elbow swinging resulting in serious contact
• Severe dead-ball contact
• Fighting
• Other extreme unsportsmanlike conduct
Penalty:
• ₱1,000 penalty
• 1-game suspension
• Immediate ejection from the game
• The Official Referee shall determine whether the foul constitutes a Flagrant Foul 2.
• The penalty must be fully settled before the player may participate again.
• NO PAYMENT = NO PLAY.
• Failure to settle the penalty shall result in an automatic ban from the league/club until the penalty is fully settled.
• The League Committee may impose additional disciplinary action depending on the severity of the incident.

VIII. INSULTING OR DISRESPECTING CO-PLAYERS, REFEREES / OFFICIALS

Any player who taunts, insults, verbally abuses, threatens, or uses inappropriate or offensive language toward a co-players, referee or game official shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Penalty:
• ₱500 penalty
• The penalty must be fully settled before the player may participate again.
• NO PAYMENT = NO PLAY.
• Failure to settle the penalty shall result in an automatic ban from the league/club until the penalty is fully settled.
