SHC League 2026 – FIBA Cup Update

Slovenia dominated New Zealand with a convincing 31-point victory in their opening game.

New Zealand's star Valguna did everything he could, but even superheroes need teammates!

Meanwhile, Slovenia looked like an All-Star squad from start to finish, led by the Player of the Game, Rodel Labunog, who finished with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.

At one point, New Zealand was probably asking, "Are we playing Slovenia or the NBA All-Star Team?"

Slovenia sends a strong warning to the rest of the league!

SHC League 2026 – FIBA Cup Update

Finland grabbed its first win in the SHC FIBA Cup, defeating a shorthanded Japan squad.

Rumor has it that some Japanese players were still at the airport checking fuel prices before booking their flights! With several roster members unable to make the trip, Japan had to battle with limited manpower.

Taking advantage of the situation was Player of the Game Nars Galendez, who stuffed the stat sheet with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists while helping Finland cruise to victory.

Despite the loss, Japan showed heart and determination. Hopefully, their missing teammates can find a promo fare before the next game!
