🎯 Para sa mga NEWBIE ATHLETES and ARTISTS, this is YOUR moment.
Whether you’ve never picked up a racket, stepped on stage, or tried a sport before, this camp is designed especially for beginners who want to explore, discover, and grow.
The BATANG DASIG Free Sports and Arts Summer Camp 2026 is a flagship youth development initiative of the City Government of Dapitan under the leadership of Mayor Evelyn “Belen” T. Uy, aimed at building a strong, sustainable sports and arts culture among young Dapitanons.
This program opens doors for children and youth to discover their potential, whether in sports or in the arts, and become part of the city’s growing pool of future athletes and artists.
🌱 WHY JOIN?
This is more than just a summer activity, it’s a platform for:

✔️ Developing discipline, creativity, and teamwork

✔️ Engaging in healthy, productive activities

At the same time, it helps guide our youth toward positive, meaningful pursuits during the school break, keeping them active, inspired, and focused.
👦👧 WHO CAN JOIN?
Open to all children and youth ages 5–16 years old — BEGINNERS ONLY
For experienced athletes or artists, limited slots may be made available subject to screening and availability.
Those who still wish to be part of the program despite full slots are encouraged to coordinate with the program coaches and may be considered as assistants or volunteers, helping guide and support beginner participants throughout the camp.
📄 DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
📍 Step 1: Secure Registration Forms
Proceed to the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Office, 2nd Floor, Government Center
👤 Look for Atty. Rizel Jan I. Turno for assistance
🗓 Forms available starting April 30, 2026
📑 Step 2: Prepare the Following Documents:
Waiver and Consent Form
– To be secured and accomplished from the BAC Office
Medical Certificate
– Must indicate that the participant is fit to join the Summer Youth Camp
– Kindly specify the chosen Sport or Art Discipline (choose one)
Proof of Residency (Photocopy of ID)
– Any valid ID showing Dapitan City address
– If none, submit Parent/Guardian’s ID reflecting Dapitan City residency
