DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/03 May)—The newly-formed Mindanao dragon boat teams competing here in the first Mindanao dragon boat festival show a lot of promise, event organizers observed on Saturday.

Each year MAAP (Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific) offers 500 full scholarships at their academy in Mariveles.

This scholarship includes full tuition and full board and lodging.

Students graduating from High School this coming March in fact anyone born in the years 1992-1997 are encouraged to apply. The testing fee is P300.
