Behind every great race is a team that refuses to be ordinary. And behind the success of the Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest, is a group of individuals I can only describe as superhuman.
First, to John Aquino, our Technical Race Director β the mastermind behind the trail. From conception to reconnaissance, from plotting elevation profiles to strategizing every turn, exit, and aid station β John engineered an experience, not just a route. This man can memorize sitios, barangays, and even the smallest eskinas of Dalaguete better than the locals themselves. The precision, the foresight, the grit β βjob well doneβ is an understatement. Hats off, bro.
To Jet Acido, our external communications lead, marketing force, and the voice behind the microphone β your relentless drive in promoting the race was nothing short of remarkable. The clarity of messaging, the detail in ex*****on, the firm commitment to making the event seamless from start to finish β you carried the energy of the race long before gun start. Your professionalism elevated everything.
To my ever-loyal hitman, Yoyo Geojfy Lacion β the muscle, the engine, the endurance of this team. He drives, builds, fixes, surveys β anytime, anywhere. I rarely see this man tired. And even when exhaustion shouldβve kicked in, enthusiasm took over. He pulls everyone up β especially me when the weight gets heavy. This guy is beyond awesome. A beast with a warriorβs heart.
To Cathleen Cuyno, our finance queen β the guardian of our numbers. Every peso tracked. Every procurement organized. Every budget allocated with discipline and foresight. In the chaos of race week, you brought structure. In the pressure of operations, you brought control. A true wizard in accounting and financial stewardship.
To Orville Langga, our design master since Opeak Crazified and the man behind LNGGA Athletics β you ensured every visual carried class, consistency, and impact. From race kits to social media materials, everything was aligned and intentional. You donβt just design β you build identity.
To Enya Yap, our ex*****on driver β making sure deliverables were pushed, deadlines were met, and follow-ups were never forgotten. Even in high-stress moments, you carried a smile that steadied the team. Operational excellence with grace β thatβs rare.
To Anne Agosto, our standby medic β trained for rescue operations and always ready at the finish line. When runners needed attention, you were there. Calm. Prepared. Reliable. And beyond your medical role, you were always willing to step in wherever help was needed. That kind of heart cannot be taught.
And to Ankol Jayson, our dependable muscle on the ground β ensuring nothing slipped through the cracks in race operations. Silent strength. Consistent presence. The kind of reliability that keeps everything moving when it matters most.
To these individuals β they moved like clockwork. A living testament that no man is an island. Each one gave their all β physically, mentally, emotionally β to ensure we elevated beyond the usual and delivered something truly meaningful.
Leadership is often visible. But greatness is always collective.
I owe this to them. And for that, I am deeply grateful and truly honored to lead such an exceptional, talented, and committed team.
βIf you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.β π
And we are going far.
With respect and gratitude,
Your humble servant,
RD Bryan β The Punisher
