I personally believed that each of us have our own time, that most of us will each have a spotlight on our own. Now that we will chase our own paths to take, I wish for everyone to truly find where they belong.
People regard me as scary and intimidating, but I never really meant to be scary, I was just so detached from people, afraid to show my vulnerabilities.
โI suffered, and then I made myself detached and strongโ
Now I offer my deepest gratitude and appreciation to these people, I might not be able to mention everyone but it will always be true that everyone had a special place in my heart.
First and foremost, to my older brother
Who knows how I would have survived these past 2 years, not just academically but in real world if not for you.
No blood between our hearts was sown,
But still you made me feel your own.
A brother earned, not tied by birth
You made this life feel full of worth.
We shared a bench, then shared our lives,
Through modules, meals, and hallway drives.
It wasnโt a grand moment, I held onto that small kindness, a life jacket.
because sometimes, thatโs all it takes
not to drown.
You were a black lotus, I was a white one.
You leaving, gave me the room to remember.
What I was before I was bent by love.
To be happy for myself.
Advanced happy birthday to you, Iโve read your message, but chose not to reply, however, I wish the same for you.

Questions flew from lips like storms,
Challenging norms in all their forms.
Yet in your chaos, thought ran deep,
A rebel mind that lost no sleep
I failed your quiz.
Slept through your lecture.
Laughed when I shouldnโt.
But you never shut the door.
You corrected with grace,
scolded with care,
and gave chances
like they werenโt running out.
You cracked equations in your sleep,
And made the hardest numbers weep.
Your smirk revealed a humble pride,
A gentle genius none could hide
You spoke of electrons like they were pets,
excited, charged, never still.
I sat there, older, supposedly wiserโ
but you taught me.
And every time I got it wrong,
you never made me feel small.
Instead, you said,
โItโs okay. Even stars explode sometimes.

You were always scribbling,
while the rest of us just nodded along.
Equations poured from your pen
like lullabies.
you shared your hacks,
your shortcuts, your spark.
It made me feel lucky
just to sit beside you.
To Namgyael and Titan
You didnโt just write for yourself.
You wrote like someone else would need it.
The margins held kindness,
the highlights were hope.
And on the days my brain refused to function,
your pages became my second chance.
your version of โI got you.โ
You never made it a big deal.
But it was.
It really was.
Youโve got debts to pay, I remember the stories you have to tell.
Your voice, soft as a prayer,
A voice like autumn windโ
it made the silence drown.
Cheers to the friendship,
Cheers for more.
You werenโt just family in nameโ
you were there
when smiles were hard to find.
You asked if Iโd eaten,
not if I passed.
You gave space when I needed it.
You loved me in ways
that felt like home
when school didnโt.
We werenโt just a teamโ
we were a storm of minds.
Ideas flew, collided,
and to Blessy the personal attendant
We stayed up too late,
but we believedโ
not just in the cause,
but in each other.
We didnโt just converge.
We created something
none of us could have done alone.
We were just names on a roster once.
Strangers in a sea of excellence.
But somewhere between the deadlines,
the shared jokes,
and the pressure,
we became more.
We became a chorusโ
different voices,
one mission.
And when it was all over,
I didnโt remember the competition.
I remembered us.
No destination,
just conversations
"guys may quiz daw bukas??"
and comfort typed
faster than panic.
We were pixels and people,
and somehow,
we never missed a beat.
You and I,
we were competitors at firstโ
two sides of the same coin,
always chasing the same spot.
But in the end,
we learned to share the victory.
Two minds,
once opposed,
now stronger together.
We laughed at things
no one else understoodโ
a word, a look,
a memory half-remembered
but sacred.
It wasnโt just humor.
It was proof
that we belonged to each other.
Before I knew I could do it,
you said I could.
Simple words.
But they made mountains move.
You werenโt loud about your faith in me,
but it echoed louder
than the doubts ever did.
It was never just a room.
It breathed when we laughed,
ached when we stayed late,
held secrets in the corners
where we thought no one listened.
It saw us as we wereโ
undone,
unfiltered,
alive.
To God
You were the whisper
in the middle of my overthinking.
The breath I didnโt know I took
after each exam.
You held my hand
when I clenched my fists.
You watched me cry at 2 a.m.
when no one else was awake.
You placed people in my pathโ
friends, mentors, even brief smilesโ
and called it grace.
I didnโt always thank You out loud,
but You stayed.
And thatโs what kept me going.
To the Mathematics Department
You werenโt just about numbers.
You were about patience,
explaining formulas three different ways
until we finally saw the light.
Your jokes were dry,
your passion sharp,
and even when we crumbled under word problems,
you saw usโ
not as failing students,
but as minds still unfolding.
You carried equations like art
and gave us space
to solve ourselves too.
To My Future
I donโt know your face yet.
But I know you're waiting.
I know you're rooting for me
in rooms I havenโt stepped into,
in cities I havenโt dreamed of.
You are built on small decisionsโ
late-night study grinds,
hard conversations,
kindness to strangers.
Iโll meet you soon.
And when I do,
I hope I recognize myself
in your peace.
