The City of Naga is proud to support the upcoming SportsYu Inaugural U21 Men's Beach Volleyball National Championships 2023, which will be held on April 15-16, 2023 at Oceanside Village, South Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu.
This two-day tournament will feature eighteen teams from across the country, all vying for the title of champion. Teams such as National University (NU) 2, University of St. La Salle (USLS) 2, and Volleyball Never Stop (VNS) of Quezon City have already confirmed their participation.
As a coastal city known for its clear waters, powdery sand, and scenic surroundings, the City of Naga is committed to strengthening its sports program under the leadership of Mayor Valdemar M Chiong. Hosting national and even international competitions is a long-term goal for the city, and beach volleyball is seen as a key sport in achieving this vision.
According to Joerem Yu of SportsYu, the City of Naga has great potential to become a hub for beach volleyball in the region, given its ideal location and welcoming environment for players of all skill levels. This event is an opportunity for athletes to showcase their talents and compete against the best beach volleyball players in the country.
The tournament is supported by Mr. Potato and Mr. Taho of MLhuillier Group of Companies, further demonstrating the strong partnerships that are helping to make this event a success.
