The boys are all back home. They only managed to clinch the second spot (1st runner-up) and brought home silver medals; but as one parent wisely put it, "Silver shines like gold when won with sweat and tears." 🏅 With that said, the Region 7 Elementary Football team will always have our respect and will always be our true champions for showing grit and determination, for playing fair and with a heart, and for displaying teamwork and camaraderie. ❤ This emotional loss (though already an impressive feat for most of us) will help mold the character of these young men. This bittersweet experience is not the end but only the beginning of these boys' journey in fulfilling their dreams, whether it be on the field or off the field. ⚽
