Grateful for Safe Travels! 🙏

After wrapping up the 2-day event on Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC) II, we finally left NAIA Terminal 2 at 6:30 PM last night, delayed from our original 5:10 PM departure due to storm Katrina.

The flight gave us a bit of a challenge with 30-40 minutes of turbulence, but we safely landed at Bancasi Airport under calm weather conditions.

Strengthening Partnerships for Climate Action: GIZ Manila Meets Buenavista Leadership
Municipality of Buenavista, Agusan del Norte | October 15, 2024

The day marks a significant step forward as we welcomed the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Manila team, led by Ms. Mia Lorraine Simpao, for a courtesy call to Municipal Mayor, Hon. Joselito T. Roble.

The meeting centered on the Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC) II project, which aims to strengthen our municipality's approach to climate-induced migration through climate-resilient and gender-responsive strategies.

Buenavista has been selected as one of the two project sites for this important initiative. This collaboration with GIZ reinforces our commitment to building a more resilient community in the face of climate change.

I had a wonderful time taking light moments in the vibrant atmosphere of the Uptown Corporate Hotel in Tandag City during the last leg of the Local Population and Development Action Planning. Surrounded by an incredible collection of albums, CDs, and records from the hotel owner, I was reminded of the power of music in our lives.

In our busy world, it's essential to take a step back and unwind. Music has a unique ability to rejuvenate our spirits and bring joy to our day. Let’s make it a point to embrace these moments of relaxation and inspiration!
