I know everybody is borderline panicking on the recent media wave. I want to reassure everyone that until there is a final legislation in place, CCTO or LTO has no hold on apprehension. But please still be respectful to the enforcers, educate them. They answer to a higher office. With that being said, DOTR Sec. Arthur Tugade has already issued a statement on its untimely and unjustly "implementation ". Facebook posts are NOT ordinances. Facebook articles are NOT law. We, the Sugbo Skooteros, are law abidinh citizens. And should there be a law to pass out, we will follow it. But rest assured that the people will have their say.
For now, use your EKS with caution. Dont harass the enforcers. But if you do get harassed, remember to get the proper details, name of apprehending officer, time and place, violation they cited and call any of our admins for assistance.
The only time that they can apprehend any of us is when we do not follow traffic rules. Rules like obstruction of traffic (cruising at 25kph on the inner lane), counterflowing, swerving in and out of traffic, reckless driving and the likes of which which im sure most of you skooteros are aware of. If not, please feel free to review road rules which is easily available in Youtube. But should you violate any of these rules, we no longer have it in our power to aid you in that aspect.
I ask this favor to all skooteros, please dont share or interact in the bloated egos of the media posts. Share the post of Sec. Arthur Tugade instead.
