On September 28, 2026, the performing arts club opened CARITAS 2026 with a stunning showcase of Filipino culture. They started the performance by welcoming the CARITAS participants and their teachers with a mass dance as they walked down the aisle, followed by the Cordillera dance Takiling, and finishing with the Moro dances Kasunduayan and Maglangka. 💃

🌿 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 16 | 𝙅𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙨

Four meetings are now complete, and there are still so many more to discover in the world of Filipino cultural dance. This time, we stepped into the rhythm of Jeris and rooted ourselves in the Filipino tradition of courtship. After learning the steps and story of Jeris, we divided into groups. Each group brought its interpretation to life through a presentation. 🤝

Learning the folk dance was more than learning, as the session reminded us that Filipino culture holds countless stories beyond the dances we commonly see.

And with that spark, expectations soared. The thrill of what’s ahead feels bigger than the stage itself — shaping into something unpredictable and unforgettable🔥

🎭🇵🇭 Noong Agosto 7, 2026 (Biyernes), nagningning ang entablado ng Recoletos Coliseum sa pagbubukas ng Buwan ng Wika sa pamamagitan ng isang makulay na pagtatanghal ng Performing Arts Club (PAC). Sa pamamagitan ng musika, sayaw, at sining, ipinamalas ng ating mga kabataan ang kanilang husay, dedikasyon, at pagmamahal sa kulturang Pilipino. Bawat galaw at kumpas ay nagsilbing pagpapakita ng ating mayamang kultura, tradisyon, at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino. ✨🎶

Ang pagtatanghal na ito ay naging posible sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagsisikap, tiyaga, at talento ng bawat miyembro ng PAC. Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat at pagkilala sa ating mga choreographer, Jim Niño C. Gonzales at Railynne R. Mahinay, sa kanilang malikhaing pamumuno, paggabay, at dedikasyon sa pagbuo ng pagtatanghal. Sa kanilang tulong at sa pagkakaisa ng bawat mananayaw, tunay na naipakita ang makulay at buhay na diwa ng kulturang Pilipino. 🇵🇭

Last June 17, 2026, the Performing Arts Club graced us with their cultural performances during Salubong 2026. The stage came alive with vibrant dances and heartfelt musical performances that showcased the diverse traditions of our community.

The students were captivated by the colorful costumes, the rhythm of the music, and the passion radiating from each performer. Their artistry not only entertained but also reminded us of the importance of preserving cultural heritage. Truly, the Performing Arts Club made the celebration more memorable by weaving together creativity, tradition, and unity.

The Performing Arts Club Advisers, Mrs. Rose Mary M. Pancinpanci and Ms. Trinidad J. Abad, together with student representatives Mr. Inderjit Singh and Ms. Audrey Basanta, proudly participated in the 44th National Folk Dance Workshop: Tukib, Saot, Liikha.

This enriching experience celebrated the beauty, diversity, and richness of Philippine cultural heritage through music, movement, and tradition. The workshop provided participants with the opportunity to deepen their appreciation of the country's various folk dances and the stories they embody, reflecting the unique identity of the Filipino people.

Beyond acquiring new skills and techniques, the participants gained valuable knowledge, fostered meaningful friendships, and strengthened their commitment to preserving, promoting, and passing on Filipino culture to future generations.
