It has come to our attention that Sen. Risa Hontiveros mistakenly linked our group, PMC Cenger Group, to the extremist group 764 and the tragic Tacloban school shooting. We would like to make it absolutely clear.
PMC Cenger Group is strictly a hobbyist airsoft group, made up of law-abiding citizens, professionals, and enthusiasts that gather solely for recreational purposes. Our group operates with the highest regard for legal boundaries and intend to follow the laws of the land.
With that said, we condemn all forms of nihilist violent extremism, including the actions of groups like 764. The recent school shooting in Tacloban was a tragic incident and our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. Such violence stands against our morals and ethics.
PMC Cenger Group has no affiliation, connection, or sympathy to any extremist or malicious actors or organizations. We do not condone, participate, support, or facilitate any violent agendas.
We understand that mistakes can happen, especially with the case of Risa Hontiveros' research team. However, words carry weight, and mislabeling a legitimate sports group can cause reputational harm, especially to innocent members of the group. We are open to cooperating with any formal inquiries to prove our legitimacy and clear our name.
