This Pink October, we invite you to join us for an evening of faith, reflection, and remembrance at “𝒕𝒉𝒆.𝒘𝒂𝒚” 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 3.11, proudly sponsored this month by Cebu Pink Paddlers. 🙏🏽

As we observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we remember those who have gone before us, honor those who continue to fight, and celebrate the courage and strength of every survivor. May this gathering be a space to reconnect, renew our faith, and carry hope together.

This Pink October, we celebrate a crew powered by our fierce Breast Cancer Survivors and the advocate women who paddle beside them. Different stories, one boat, one strength. This is what women in sport looks like at Cebu Pink Paddlers. 🐉🎀

Know your body, know the signs, and never ignore changes that feel unusual. 🎀
This Pink October, 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨. 🩷

Here’s how you can perform breast self-examination:

Look for changes in size, shape, or skin.
Touch & feel – for lumps or thickening.
If you notice an abnormal lump, seek medical care—even if the lump doesn’t hurt.

If something feels off—even if it doesn’t hurt—talk to a doctor.

𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 begins with the women who remind us what strength looks like in motion. 🎀

This 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, we proudly celebrate our very own Breast Cancer Survivor paddlers. Women who continue to show up, train hard, race fiercely, and prove that life after a breast cancer diagnosis can still be filled with strength, purpose, and new challenges to conquer. 💪🏽

Their stories also carry an important reminder for all of us: stay informed, know your body, be proactive about your health, and keep up with recommended breast screenings. 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀.

Throughout October, Cebu Pink Paddlers will continue to raise awareness, celebrate our survivors, and reach out to the community through activities close to our advocacy.

Nustar Dragon Boat Regatta 2026 was a fight from start to finish. 🔥

Every crew emptied the tank. We pushed, chased, fought for every meter, and left everything on the course. We had fun doing it, but we also came away knowing exactly where we need to get sharper, stronger, and faster.

We take the results. We take the lessons. Then we get back to work.

Big thanks to evian for keeping us hydrated on race day, Anytime Fitness Philippines for being our partner in strength and conditioning, and our generous paddler donors who continue to back the team.

To Coach Ailene Padrones, thank you for pushing us, preparing us, correcting the details, and standing with us all the way to the finish line. To our families and friends who came out and made their voices heard, thank you for bringing the energy from the sidelines.

And to the NUSTAR Dragon Boat Regatta organizers and the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation, thank you for putting together a fun, competitive race weekend and giving teams another chance to test themselves on the course.

We raced hard. We learned. We’re not done. 🩷💪🏽
