𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍. 🥋

Jean of 90/Eight HQ recently served as a demo uke for Professor Sonia Sillan during a self-defence session at Grappling Academy in Suva, Fiji 🇫🇯 .

We love seeing women learn, roll, and support one another on the mats.

And yes, 𝐰𝐞'𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬. 👀

We get a lot of inquiries from people who want to join but feel shy because they’re plus-sized.

Well, here’s Kyle. He started with extra weight and very little confidence. He kept showing up, kept training, and slowly transformed, not just physically, but mentally.

Years later, he’s fit, active, competing, and even winning superfights and competitions.

He grew up on our mats. 🥋

If Kyle can start where he did, so can you.

Dm us to join our Absolute Beginners Program.
