Philippine Kali Jujutsu Academy The Philippine Kali Jujutsu Academy ("PKJA" for brevity) aims to share the martial arts discipline

The Philippine Kali Jujutsu Academy also known as “kali-jujutsu” is a combination of Filipino and Japanese martial arts. Its techniques are derived from the traditional martial arts of the Philippines (kali) which emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives, bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons, as well as “open hand techniques without weapons”, and from the family of Japanese martial arts (jujutsu) which is a system of close combat (unarmed or with a minor weapon) that typically put more emphasis on throwing, pinning, and joint-locking techniques used in defensive or offensive manner to neutralize or subdue one or more weaponless or armed opponents.
