Not everyone gets the chance to wear the jersey but if you’ve got the heart, the discipline, and the hunger to compete at the next level, then step up.

The UPCMFT Tryout ‘26 is calling future players who are ready to prove themselves on the field. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just pure football.

REQUIREMENTS:
✔ PSA Birth Certificate
✔ Grade 12 Report Card

We gave everything we had our strength, effort, and heart throughout the match. Both teams showed intensity in the first half, which resulted in two red cards for each side, turning the game into a 9 vs 9 battle. USJR took the lead before halftime, but we responded with determination in the second half as Pocholo Sanoria found the equalizer to make it 1–1. In the final five minutes, USJR was awarded a penalty, sealing the match at 2–1.

This may not be the result we hoped for, but it reflects the fight we were able to give. We take this as a lesson, and we move forward with our heads held high. Next season, we come back stronger, more prepared, and better—always playing for growth, resilience, and the pride of UP Cebu💚❤️✊

We gave everything we had every play, every effort, every ounce of heart but the result wasn’t what we expected. Losses like this sting, but they also awaken something greater in us. This isn’t the end of our fight, it’s the beginning of a stronger, more determined version of our team.

In our next game, we’re stepping onto the field with clearer focus, harder drive, and a mindset built for redemption. We’re ready to bounce back, to prove ourselves, and to show what we’re truly capable of.

In today’s match, we entered the first half with strong composure, maintaining our structure and matching the momentum on both sides. Both teams showed quality, and we were able to hold the score at 0–0 heading into halftime.

In the second half, the UPCMFT gave everything in pursuit of the win. However, in the final two minutes, USPF found a breakthrough and secured their spot in the finals.

Thank you to the entire UP community for your unwavering support. We truly felt your presence. We hope you’ll continue to stand with us as we prepare for our next match against University of San Carlos Warriors.
