49 rebounds. Zero points. Five games.

Would you call Dennis Rodman a failure?

Most people think success in basketball is all about scoring points.

But Rodman understood something many of us miss.

Another analogy I use when talking about Life's Purpose...

Let me share this.

When I have group coaching sessions and inspirational speaking engagements,

I always want to position the topic about Purpose in general and anchor it to our LIFE'S PURPOSE.

Thus, I set an analogy so that we are all on the same page.

I ask questions like:

"For you, what is Purpose?"

"What is Success for you?"

Then I bring the context and concept to the general definition that I believe in.

According to Dr. Myles Munroe,

"The biggest failure in life is to succeed in the wrong assignment."

He added,

Purpose is the original intent of why you were born, and your role and reason why you are here.

Thus, Success is the fulfillment of the original intent of the creation.

In short, all of creation is meant to succeed.

Why?

Because no creator or inventor wants their creation to fail.

They want their creation to become successful by fulfilling its purpose.

Rodman knew his role. He knew his identity. He knew his purpose.

He wasn't called to be the leading scorer. He was called to become the best rebounder in the NBA.

Because he embraced his unique role,

he won 5 NBA Championships,

became one of the highest-paid players of his era, and built an influence that reached far beyond basketball.

That means real success isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about becoming who you were created to be.

Most of us spend our lives chasing success based on other people's definitions.

But the first step to real success is discovering who you truly are—and who you are not.

When your identity becomes clear, your gifting becomes clear.

When your gifting becomes clear, your purpose becomes clear.

And when your purpose becomes clear, you begin to influence lives, create impact, and leave a meaningful legacy.

You don't have to score the most points. You simply have to faithfully play the role you were created for.

You Were Created for Love —So Why Are You Living in Judgment?

Why Are You So Hard on Yourself and Others?

We always hear this saying and advice,

LIVE LIFE WITH KINDNESS AND A COMPASSIONATE HEART.

Many of us know this concept,

but we don’t know how to exercise it.

Because we don’t fully understand it,

nor do we have a clear picture of what it truly looks like.

In my many years of my Entrepreneurial Self Mastery Coaching experience,

this is my simple understanding of what it means:

BEING KIND is treating people well and fairly—even when you don’t gain anything in return.

You CARE for others regardless of their status, ability, or physical appearance, even if they seem “lower” than you.

Care is an action word of Love.

BEING COMPASSIONATE is seeing people as they truly are—

Like a child filled with the essence of Love, Joy, Vulnerability, and Openness.

However, our essence may have been polluted, manipulated, or wounded by trauma,

which is why we sometimes act in ways that are opposite to our true values.

Being Compassionate is choosing to empathize with how deeply we may be hurting,

Especially when our behavior reflects the opposite of how God created us to be.

This is how Jesus treats us—
and in the same way,

we are called to treat others and even ourselves with COMPASSION and KINDNESS.

Did you know that most of the time…

what we give to others negatively is often something we have already given to ourselves—many times over?

If we speak harshly to others,

chances are we are also speaking harshly to ourselves, often unconsciously.

If we are not kind and compassionate to others…

we are hating and hurting ourselves.

And that’s why, knowing this,

we need to be more kind and compassionate to others who did wrong to us.

Why?

Sino ba ang unang na-hate at na-hurt nila?

Sino ba ang nahihirapan?

Di ba the one who holds the grudge comes from anger?

Kaya send Kindness and Compassionate rather reacting with hate.

Remember:

We are created in the image and likeness of God.

We are spirit beings living in earthly bodies.

And that spirit within us is filled with love—
not anger, not doubt, and not fear.

Title: The Source Behind Your Standards.

I’ve come to realize that we cannot wrongfully judge people based on what they believe is true for them.

Everyone operates from a metric.

A definition of success.

A set of standards and measurements shaped by experience.

And because those metrics are different, disagreements happen. Arguments arise.

And most of the time,

their intentions are clear. Their values are sincere.

Their heart is pure.

The real issue is this: the source.

Beliefs formed from wounds.

Principles rooted in misinformation or lies.

Convictions built without verified truth.

When that happens, triggers show up, and survival mechanisms take over.

And people begin to act opposite of who they truly are.

Unexamined thoughts can unconsciously and automatically transform:

Love into hate. Worthiness into constant proving.

Trust into doubt.

Not because the heart is corrupt at first.

But when your metric comes from the wrong belief, it becomes misaligned.

And if you continuously choose to justify and embrace it,

it only deepens the misalignment.

The solution is not judgment.

The solution is compassion with understanding.

Then alignment.

Check the source of truth behind your metrics.

Examine what defines success for you.

Clarify the standard you are using to measure life.

Because when the source is right,
your responses become right.

And you live your life rightly.

And when your metric is aligned with truth,
you live with clarity, purpose, and meaning.

Are you tired of self battle??

I feel you...

Read this.

Most of the time,

the real challenge is not the people we believe in and respect who put us down,

not the circumstances we face,

and not our family background.

The real challenge is how we believe who we are

and how we see ourselves based on our own limited understanding.

We constantly project this belief and validate it
based on our results

and on what we choose to focus on—

often looking for what is wrong and negative in our experiences.

Do you know the greatest challenge in life?

The greatest challenge in life is not fulfilling your dreams

or achieving what you want.

The most difficult and challenging journey in life,

is learning to Accept Who You Truly Are.

Because of lies and external accusations, we begin to believe them,

and over time, we form a negative self-image within ourselves.

There is a saying, and I quote:

“If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm.”

This means the greatest enemy we must confront

is often the lies ingrained within ourselves.

Go back to your Creator which is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

and discover who you are—

not by your own definition,

but by embracing who you truly are in His eyes
and how He originally created you.

Who are we not to pause and give thanks for the wonders He has created in our lives?

Gratitude opens our hearts, reminding us that His love surrounds us daily.

Let’s not overlook His blessings—big or small.

Choose to notice, celebrate, and honor the beauty God has entrusted to us.

Acknowledging that we are WEARY and WEAK sometimes has a POWER with humility, honesty and acceptance..
