Let’s Encourage Our Students to Choose Sports, Not Violence. 🏓❤️
Tungod sa makaguol nga panghitabo sa shooting incident sa Ateneo de Zamboanga, mas kinahanglan nato karon nga palig-onon ang atong mga kabatan-onan pinaagi sa positive, healthy, and meaningful activities.
One way to do this is by encouraging students to engage in sports. And pickleball is one of the best sports to promote in our schools and communities. 🏓
Pickleball is a community-based sport—no age limit, no gender restriction, and everyone is welcome. It creates an environment where students can stay active, develop discipline and sportsmanship, build friendships, and learn how to interact positively with others.
More importantly, pickleball gives families and communities an opportunity to bond. Parents can play with their children, students can play with their friends, and different generations can come together on one court—not only to compete, but to connect.
Instead of allowing our young people to be exposed to violence, conflict, and unhealthy influences, let’s give them more spaces where they can play, grow, belong, and feel safe.
Let’s invest in our youth—not only through academics, but also through sports, friendship, discipline, and community.
Let’s encourage our children to pick up a paddle, not a weapon. 🏓❤️
Play together. Bond together. Grow together. Build a safer community together. ✨
CATIGBIAN PICKLERS CLUB family is OPEN to welcome all of YOU! 🤗🫶🏻
Posting this for awareness. Let’s continue advocating for sports and supporting programs that build discipline, character, and a better future for our youth. Sports can change lives. 🇵🇭🥊
In light of the tragic incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga, my deepest condolences to the families of the victims. May they find strength, and may justice prevail. 🙏
