WHAT A DAY! 🥒🔥 The first Pickleball training in Catigbian was a smash hit!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made our very first Pickleball training event such a massive success! The energy on the court was unmatched, and seeing so many new faces eager to learn the game was absolutely inspiring. 🤩

From the first serve to the final d**k, you all brought your A-game.

We love seeing new faces on the court! Whether you are visiting Catigbian or just looking for a game, you are welcome to join us.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:
To ensure the safety of all players and the flow of the games, Reclub bookings are strictly for players with Pickleball experience. (You must know the rules, scoring, and basic safety).

Which category are you?
✅ "I know how to play!"

Great! To secure your spot and help us manage court capacity, you must book via the Reclub App.

🛑 "I’ve never played / I’m a total beginner."

Welcome to the sport! To make sure you have the best experience (and to keep everyone safe), we require all beginners to complete a Training Session first.

Please DO NOT book an Open Play slot yet.

Wait for our next Intro to Pickleball Clinic announcement.
Once you complete training, you’ll be cleared to join regular games!

Why do we do this?

Since we play at an LGU facility, we need to maintain strict order and safety. Learning the basics first ensures everyone has fun without injuries or confusion!

📍 CATIGBIAN PICKLERS CLUB HOUSE RULES & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Located within the DRRMO & Evacuation Center Complex

🚨 1. EMERGENCY ZONE & PARKING (STRICTLY ENFORCED)

This court sits within an active emergency response zone. Safety is our #1 priority.

❌ NO PARKING IN FRONT OF THE DRRMO DRIVEWAY: The driveway must remain clear 24/7 for ambulances and rescue vehicles.

✅ PARKING AREA: When parking slots in the evac center is full, all players are advised to park near the Gymnasium and walk to the court.

🚑 YIELD TO OPERATIONS: If you hear sirens or see emergency vehicles, please pause play immediately.

🏓 2. RESPECT CLUB PROPERTY

We are a community-funded club. Please help us take care of our gear!

Equipment: If you borrow community paddles or balls, please return them to the designated Club Members or organizers immediately after use. Do not take them home.

Court Care: Do not lean on the nets or posts.

🤝 3. COMMUNITY SPIRIT & ETIQUETTE

Positive Vibes Only: Be polite and always greet each other with a pretty smile! 😊

Fun First: Remember, this is a place for fun and games. Let’s keep the atmosphere friendly and welcoming.

💧 4. HEALTH & CLEANLINESS

Bring Water Always: Please ensure you bring your own water for every session to stay hydrated.

Clean Up: Pack up your trash and empty bottles before leaving. Let's keep our shared space clean.

👟 5. ATTIRE & FOOTWEAR

Proper rubber shoes when playing in court. No slippers, heels, or dress shoes are allowed when playing in the court.

Wow! We are officially FULLY BOOKED for the upcoming training sessions.

As many of you know, Catigbian Picklers Club is a small, local club just starting to organize Pickleball in Catigbian. Because we are still in the early stages of building this community, our resources and court space are currently limited.

We want to ensure everyone gets quality instruction, which means we have to keep our class sizes small for now. But we promise—we are working hard to grow so we can accommodate everyone!

🚨 UPDATE: Catigbian loves Pickleball! (Novice category slots are full!)

You’ve seen the courts, you’ve heard the "pop-pop-pop," and you’ve wondered what the hype is about. The secret is out—and slots are filling up fast for our training at Catigbian!
Here is the status for our upcoming clinic January 18, 2026:

🔴 3:00 PM - Novice Category (Zero Experience)
🚫 SLOTS ARE FULL
🟢 4:00 PM - Beginner Category (Basic Experience)
⚡️ ONLY 3 SLOTS LEFT!

Who is the 4 PM slot for?
If you know how to hold a paddle, have played a game or two, or are transitioning from tennis/badminton, this is perfect for you! We will focus on:
✅ Refining your swing mechanics
✅ Court positioning & strategy
✅ Cleaning up the rules (and the kitchen!)
