𝘽𝙖𝙜-𝙤 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙍𝘿 𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙 8, 𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙪𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙩 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙀𝙑𝙍𝘼𝘼 𝙘𝙤-𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙣!
Prior to the courtesy call of the new Regional Director of the Department of Education Region VIII, Dr. Salustiano T. Jimenez with City Mayor Dexter Uy earlier today, April 22, 2026,
an initial presentation was made relative to the preparations for the 2027 EVRAA Catbalogan Co-Hosting.
Together with Catbalogan City Population and Youth Development Office (CPYDO) and the Catbalogan City Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (CDRRMO), the Catbalogan City Tourism, Culture, Arts & Information Office (CTCAIO) shared the earlier identified sporting events to be co-hosted, the identified playing venues, target billeting areas, and the draft branding strategies for next year's event.
This was made possible through the support of the DepEd, Schools Division of Catbalogan City and the leadership of City Mayor Dexter Uy as the biggest regional meet is set to be hosted back in Catbalogan after more than several decades.
With nearly less than a year left to prepare, Catbalogan City is very much eager and excited to mark this milestone together with Calbayog City and make the overall experience for all participants, athletes, guests and tourist truly memorable and definitely captivating.
